How to recognize your child’s vocation

Teachers are sure that all children are born talented. But not everyone becomes a champion, prima and professionals. It is important to determine in time the passion of your kid, develop and encourage the achievement of the goal. And the main task falls on the shoulders of parents. There is a chance that the makings and abilities of your baby will show up already during the next family vacation. How is this possible?

  • Stages of formation and development of abilities.
  • The formation of certain potentialities is closely related to the overall development of the child. Psychologists distinguish five age periods:

  • 1-2 years - babies show their first creative inclinations;
  • 3-4 years - the time of comprehensive development, the peak of the formation of abilities. During this period, there is sympathy for a certain type of activity;
  • 5-6 years - the development of thinking. Welcome to the sections and interest groups, the development of talent;
  • 7-8 years old - a manifestation of the persistent interest of children in creativity, the period of attendance of regular classes, the achievement of first successes;
  • 9-14 years - the formation of independence, ability to analyze and synthesize, a responsible attitude to classes, the definition of further development.
  • This classification is not a panacea for parents. It is important to remember that children's abilities can wake up at different ages. If your kid is not singing and drawing at the age of four, do not try to force the activity. His talent can show itself even seven years later.

  • How to reveal talent in a child?
  • Identifying the makings and abilities is a primary task in the development of talent. This is easy to do by watching the baby. There is a group of talents which are easy to detect by the behavior of children. These include musical talent, artistic talent, artistry and a predisposition to the sport. To find out artistic inclinations, it is not necessary that the child draw or paint pictures from morning to evening. Other behavioral features also indicate increased visual perception of the world.

  • Artistic talent - likes to draw, add puzzles, assemble a designer, build visual images, decorate and dress up. Such children perceive the world through their eyes: when describing objects, they use the words “beautiful”, “bright”, “vivid”, they quickly learn to recognize colors.
  • Musical abilities - a child from an early age pays attention to music, repeats melody and rhythm, copies intonation and pronunciation of words, listens to the surrounding sounds. Children with a well-developed ear can easily learn foreign languages, as well as dance.
  • Artistic ability - loves to be in public, repeats the behavior of adults, loves to dress up, depicts poses, copies animals.
  • Sports skills - active, runs a lot, plays with the ball. The kid is fond of watching sports programs, likes to watch other people play. Purposeful and persistent.
  • Mathematical abilities - like puzzles and to play chess and checkers, enthusiastically considers, remembers numbers well. Even at an early age, a child likes looking at the numbers for a long time.
